Performance

Roadstone tyres are tuned for predictable, comfortable everyday driving rather than grip at the limit. Dry handling is adequate for sedans and SUVs at normal speeds, and the tyres are progressive when they reach the limit, which helps less experienced drivers.

Wet braking is the main compromise: older designs like the CP672 stop noticeably later than current Nexen or Hankook tyres, so allow more distance in UAE winter rain.

Durability

Roadstone passenger tyres usually last 35,000–50,000 km in the UAE, and the Roadian HTX RH5 often reaches 50,000–65,000 km on pickups thanks to a hard, long-wearing compound. Taxi and rental fleets choose the brand partly because wear is even and predictable.

The sidewalls are on the soft side, so speed bumps and kerbs in villa communities should be taken slowly.

In UAE conditions

Roadstone fits drivers who cover a lot of city kilometres in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi and want low cost per kilometre. It tolerates summer heat well when correctly inflated, but under-inflation on hot roads causes shoulder wear quickly.

The Roadian HTX RH5 handles graded desert tracks and farm roads; it is not designed for soft dunes.

Typical price per tyre

Typical fitted price per tyre: AED 180–280 for 14–16 inch sedan sizes, AED 260–380 for 17–18 inch sizes and AED 330–550 for SUV and pickup sizes. Confirmed on WhatsApp.

Today Roadstone is positioned as Nexen's value brand. The tyres are made in the same Nexen factories in Korea and China, using shared engineering, but with simpler tread designs and lower prices, typically 10–15 percent below the equivalent Nexen.

In the UAE, Roadstone is popular with taxi fleets, rental companies and drivers of older sedans and SUVs who want a known manufacturer at near-budget prices. The Roadian line covers SUVs and pickups, while the Eurovis and CP lines cover passenger cars.

Roadstone tyres are generally better built than unbranded imports and many Chinese budget brands, but grip and refinement are a step below Nexen's current N'Fera and N'blue designs.
