This page shows how to calculate the real price of any offer in under a minute. When you share an offer with us on WhatsApp, we quote the same size in our current stock so you can compare like for like.
The one-line calculation
Divide the total you pay, including fitting and VAT, by the number of tyres you receive. If a 4-tyre "buy 2 get 2" offer costs AED 1,400 total, the effective price is AED 350 per tyre; compare that with a normal fitted price for the same model.
If the offer only includes the tyres and charges fitting separately, add that before dividing.
- Same model name, not just the same brand
- Same or newer DOT year
- Fitting, balancing and disposal included in both totals
Check the DOT date on offer tyres
Clearance promotions sometimes move tyres that are two or three years old, which shortens their useful life in UAE heat. Tyres more than five years past their DOT date are commonly rejected at inspection, so a tyre already three years old gives you about two years before that becomes an issue.
Ask for the four-digit DOT code of the actual tyres in the offer before paying.
- Under 12 months: ideal
- 12–24 months: acceptable if stored indoors
- Over 36 months: only worth it at a large discount
Common offer types in the UAE
The most common tyre offers in the UAE are buy-2-get-2, buy-3-get-1, free fitting or alignment with a set, cashback on card payments, and manufacturer-backed seasonal promotions around Ramadan, summer and National Day. Manufacturer-backed promotions usually involve current models and fresh stock.
Interest-free instalments are not an offer in themselves, but they let you buy the better tyre rather than the cheaper one.

When a free tyre is not free
A free tyre is not free if it forces you to replace four tyres when you only needed two, or if the paid tyres are priced well above the normal rate. If your rear tyres still have 5 mm of tread, a buy-2-get-2 offer might mean throwing away usable tyres.
In that case, buying just the two tyres you need at a normal price is usually cheaper.
- Measure tread depth on all four before accepting a set offer
- Tyres above 4 mm tread and under three years old are worth keeping
